Pre-production has always been an important step in filmmaking. With interactive documentaries, it is essential to carefully consider what you’re looking to create. You want to ensure you capture everything you need to when shooting. For example, if you want to create an interactive map with our software, you want to ensure you have the corresponding footage for each location that can be explored.
To ensure that you are prepared, check out the following templates before you go out and shoot. Yes, this can change during the filming process, but being aware of the structure of your interactive documentary will make you most successful. Having more than 3 different story scene possibilities will be a key factor in developing a high-quality experience.
